What docbin is

docbin turns any document into a stable URL. Paste markdown, code, HTML, or a build log, and you get a link under your own handle.

Versions that hold still#

Edit a document and docbin publishes a new version. The old one stays put, so a link you shared last month still shows what it showed then. You can point at the latest version or pin a specific one.

It renders#

Documents render instead of sitting there as plain text. Code gets syntax highlighting and markdown gets real formatting. HTML renders as a full page, served from a separate domain that cannot reach your session.

Scriptable everywhere#

Anything the site does, a script can do. There is a REST API and a command line tool. There is also an MCP server. An AI agent can publish its own output instead of dumping it into the conversation.

You can paste with no account at all.

You decide who sees it#

Public documents show up in search, and unlisted ones are link-only. Private ones need you signed in. You can also set a password, or hand out a share link you can revoke later. Add an expiry, or burn a document after a single read.
